EAST KURDISTAN, — 7 Sunni religion prisoners in Ghezel Hesar prison (Karaj), 2 Kurdish prisoners in the Urmiye prison and another prisoner in Damgan prison were hanged.According to Hrana, on 27 December, 7 prisoners of conscience belong to Sunni religion and all Kurds were executed in Ghezel Hesar prison of Karaj.On the other hand, on 28 December 2 Kurdish prisoners from Qere Ziyaedin of Urmiye province were hanged for alleged drug related crimes.In addition, on 27 December an Afghan prisoner was hanged in Damgan prison.According to statistics, in 2012 at least 575 prisoners were executed in Iran.http://rojhelat.info/en
Kurdistan Region citizens to drive private cars in visiting Iran Kurdistan Region- The citizens of Kurdistan Region will be able to use private cars in visiting Iran, Garmiyan district chief told Levin Press on Wednesday.The Islamic Republic of Iran and Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) officials agreed to allow the autonomous region’s citizens drive to Iran using their private cars, Salah Koikha said.The move will pave ways for easy visit from Iran, the official said, adding that an amount of money should be paid as assurance for using private cars.http://kurdpress.com
