Dear Sir/Madam,
The reason for my email is to formally request the removal of the tag that you have place on Mount Athos (Agion Oros) of a racially motivated attack, as shown on your map. See link:
http://map.crisis-scape.net/reports/view/56
I request this formally and will require a response from your part, regarding the authenticity of this claim, including police reports and other substantial evidence.
In the case you cannot provide this information and / or substantiate this claim, the tag on the map must be removed immediately.
Please respond to this communication no later than 7 days.
If I do not receive a response, I will begin exploring legal avenues.
Regards,
Fr. George
Parish Priest
MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA.

Dear George,
Thank you for your comments and interest in the map of racist attacks in Greece.
We have now removed the incident from the map.
For your information, exactly due to the widespread and yet invisible nature of many of these attacks, it can be very challenging to verify fully each incident. This is why we use a system of verified and unverified attacks. The attack that we have now removed was always tagged as unverified exactly due to the uncertainty with regards to the motivations and perpetrator.
Kind regards,
The crisis-scape team.
