Gave this dash camera as a gift. While the camera works on it's internal battery it does not seem to save any data or provide any loop. Error screen indicates an SD card is needed. Gifted says instructions only mention to use an SD card but when he plugged one in the camera did not work.
Russian made camera looks good quality wise, and picture is good on the self contained viewer, but I'm waiting to see if it works and records video as intended.
An SDHC card is required for operation it should be noted and 32Gb gives many hours of up to ten minute files.
